This sizing agent optimizes key physical properties of paper, making it a critical component in manufacturing high-grade papers such as:
Art base paper & photo base paper
Electrostatic copy paper & carbonless paper
Double-coated paper & archival paper
Stamp paper & yew base paper
Tissue products (napkins) and specialty coated papers.

Dosing Methods
Direct addition to high-consistency pulp slurry.
Post-dilution addition to the mixing chest.
Surface sizing (tub-sizing) on dried paper sheets.
Dosage Recommendations
Standard Sizing: 0.1%-0.2% of absolute dry pulp (a.d.p).
Heavy-Duty Sizing: 0.3%-0.4% of a.d.p.
Mandatory Dual Retention System
A synergistic retention system combining cationic starch and polyacrylamide (PAM) must be implemented:
Cationic Starch Specifications:
Quaternary ammonium type (degree of substitution ≥0.025)
Dosage: 0.6%-1.2% of a.d.p.
Polyacrylamide (PAM) Specifications:
Molecular weight: 3.0×10⁶-5.0×10⁶ Da
Working concentration: 0.05%-0.1%
Dosage: 100-300 ppm
Process Control
Maintain pulp pH within 8.0-8.5 throughout the sizing process.
Packed in plastic drum, 200 Kg or 1000Kg each, or 23tons/flexibag.
Storage temperature should be 4- 30℃.
